After receiving lots of interest in our Gem Awards, today we reveal the winners for each category.
With an enormous amount of entries in this year’s Gem Awards, it was a difficult competition to judge, so we want to say a huge thank you to all our judges.
Our panel of judges included industry experts, interior designers and social media content creators, who chose a winner for each of the following categories: Best Traditional Kitchen, Best Modern Kitchen, Biggest Transformation, Most Unique Design, Stone Statement and Overall Kitchen of the year. Thank you to all of our amazing customers that renovated their kitchens last year and shared their beautiful spaces with us entering the Gem Awards 2023.

A huge congratulations to the best traditional kitchen! This classic space showcases all the elements of a traditional kitchen, incorporating the addition of shaker cabinets and panelling. Styled alongside our Carrara Michelangelo surface, its subtle marble design is the perfect touch to the traditional style. A beautifully sophisticated space, and a worthy winner of this category🤩 @beetrootandblack, the judge for this category had a few words to say about the winner:

Our Judge for this category, Danielle Lloyd had a few words about the winning kitchen.
"The contrasting tones between the marble-look quartz and industrial metallic cabinetry creates a striking, bold statement whilst the use of the quartz both as a splashback and benchtop creates continuity within the design.
In addition, the sleek, minimal design of the kitchen combined with the contemporary lighting, appliance and furniture selections compliments the material palette, overall creating a modern and sophisticated space."

A huge congratulations on Gemini's biggest transformation! This space has been transformed into the ultimate kitchen of dreams after a magnificent renovation.
Our Judges for this category, @theaccidentalrenovators, spoke about the winning kitchen.
"We've chosen @Freyafarrington's kitchen renovation as the biggest transformation. We loved the way the space has been completely reimagined. Knocking through has created a lovely open-plan space that I imagine is excellent for entertaining and everyday family life. This kitchen had almost no natural light originally - and we love the way the designer tackled this problem - both by vaulting the ceiling and adding skylights which has also created a sense of space, and by putting French Doors in, which will connect this home to the outside beautifully."

"I was really impressed by the intelligent use of what is clearly a difficult space to work with. Loved the combination of natural textures (woods, marbles and painted brick) complemented by a gorgeous neutral paint palette."

"The expansive kitchen back wall is enhanced by the full-width splashback and floating shelf, creating a captivating focal point. The architectural perspectives, including the vaulted doorway, add to the visual appeal. The floating shelf not only maximises the stone worktops' beauty but also incorporates greenery and personalised decor, elevating the overall aesthetic. The Siena Gold stone complements the two-tone cabinetry, while the bronze tap elegantly highlights the surface's bronze veining."
