Calacatta Sunray

The warmest white in the collection, and a direct answer to the move away from cool, clinical kitchens. Calacatta Sunray runs with genuinely golden, sun-warmed veining that reads as though it’s caught the light even under a spotlight - a lovely thing in a north-facing room that needs lifting. Lean into that warmth: buttery cream or soft honey-toned cabinetry, and honey or golden oak flooring to match. 

Brushed brass is the metal of choice, and the lighting wants to be warm and glowing - opal glass globes, a dimmer switch, nothing white or clinical. This is a colour that loves a little terracotta, warm ceramic and a trailing plant on the windowsill; it’s the sociable one, built for a kitchen where people gather.

Carrara Gold

If one colour captures where this collection is looking, it’s this. Carrara Gold is an intricate study in delicate texture and fluid movement - the rare, crystalline beauty of split marble caught in quartz. Across a cool, light-reflecting white-grey base, fine threads of gold-brown branch and splinter along a sweeping diagonal, fracturing into smaller tributaries that catch the light like fine gold leaf. 

That interplay of cool stone and warm, intricate veining gives you a light, airy canvas with a distinctly handcrafted feel - a quiet, artisanal luxury that brings depth and tailored detail to a room without ever shouting. It’s the elevated everyday, exactly. Style it to keep that airiness: soft, muted tones - warm stone, pale plaster or a gentle sage green - with light-stained ash or bleached oak to hold the palette light. For metals, satin brass, unlacquered yellow gold or a soft brushed nickel all pull out the warmth in those splintered threads while keeping everything clean and modern. Understated lighting and a few handmade pieces finish it. This is the one people will assume cost far more than it did.

Venato Gold Superior

The quiet achiever. Soft grey veining threaded with the finest lines of gold, built for kitchens that want texture without noise - the sort of worktop you notice more the longer you spend with it. Because it’s so restrained, Venato Gold Superior plays beautifully with restrained schemes: greige, mushroom or a soft sage-green cabinet, pale limestone or light oak underfoot. 

Champagne or soft satin brass keeps the mood gentle, and the lighting should be understated - simple linen shades, a discreet pendant. Don’t over-style around it. A few good pieces, some greenery, plenty of clear surface. It rewards the kitchens that know when to stop.

Venato Vasari

One for the collectors, and a sign of the appetite for character over uniformity. Venato Vasari has intricate, painterly veining that moves across the slab rather than repeating in a tidy pattern, so the finished worktop reads more like a chosen piece than a specified material. It sits best in a curated, gathered-over-time sort of room. Pair it with pale timber or a soft hand-painted off-white cabinet and consider a herringbone oak floor to echo the sense of craft. 

Antique or aged brass suits its character, and this is a colour that can carry a more decorative light - a glass or alabaster pendant, something with a little jewellery to it. Let the accessories be art-led: a leaned print, a handmade bowl, objects with a story. Vasari is happiest surrounded by things that were chosen, not bought in a set.

Venato Michelangelo

A softer, sandier cousin to Vasari - the painterly movement is still there, but the palette is warmer and more organic, closer to weathered stone than polished marble. Venato Michelangelo is tailor-made for the earthy, natural-material kitchens leading the way. Build around warm neutrals: olive, clay or soft-mushroom cabinetry, with a travertine or pale tumbled-stone floor for real tactility. Aged brass again, kept soft and unpolished, and parchment or paper lantern shades for a diffused, natural light. Accessories should feel gathered from nature - rough linen, olivewood, unglazed ceramics, a bundle of dried stems. This is the barefoot-in-summer of the collection.

Calacatta Sahara Waves

The showpiece. Undulating, wave-like veining in warm gold against a bright white ground, closer to a piece of natural travertine than a conventional Calacatta - the one people will walk over to and put their hand on. Give it the room to perform. Calacatta Sahara Waves looks extraordinary as a full-height island or a run of splashback, so let it be the hero and keep everything around it calm: a simple warm-white or, for something more current, a reeded or fluted oak cabinet that picks up the movement in the stone. 

Travertine or tumbled-stone flooring extends the natural feel; brushed brass or soft bronze warms it further. Sculptural plaster or ceramic lighting suits its organic character, and the accessories should be textural and few - this is a worktop that doesn’t need much help. The one you design the whole kitchen to show off.

Luxora Bronze

The evening kitchen, and proof that the collection isn’t afraid of the dark. Deep, bronze-toned veining against a rich, warm base - the only truly moody colour in the launch, and a wonderful thing in a room that comes alive after dark. Luxora Bronze wants depth around it: a deep bronze-green, aubergine or walnut cabinet, dark timber or moody stone underfoot. 

Aged brass or genuine bronze is the obvious partner, and the lighting is doing real work here - warm, dimmable, layered, with a little brass in the fittings to catch the veining. Accessories can be richer too: smoked glass, brass, a decanter left out, candlelight. Where the rest of the collection is about morning light, Luxora Bronze is about the glass of wine at the end of the day.

There’s a reason we think of these as forward-looking rather than fashionable. A kitchen worktop is one of the few things in a home you choose once and live with for years - so it has to outlast the trend it was bought in, and, done well, quietly add to the value and appeal of the home around it.
