• Mason’s Mitres: Required for moulded edge profiles, these ensure the pattern and shape turn corners beautifully.
• Join Width: Our typical site joins are a discreet 2–3mm, ensuring they are as unobtrusive as possible.
• Internal Radii: To maintain the strength of your quartz worktops, we use specific minimum radius sizes for internal corners (starting from 15mm for flat polished edges) to ensure a smooth, premium look.

Customising your stone isn't just about looks - it's about how you use your kitchen every day.

• Drainer Grooves & Recesses: Move away from plastic drainers with grooves cut directly into the quartz. We typically install sets of 4 or 5 grooves at a standard length of 450mm. For a more contemporary look, a Recessed Drainer offers a slight dip in the stone to manage water flow elegantly.
• Pan Bars: Protect your beautiful surfaces from hot cookware with integrated pan bars, available in standard lengths of 300mm to 450mm.
• Socket Cutouts: We can precision-cut openings for your power points directly into stone cladding, maintaining a minimum of 15mm from edges for structural safety.

4. Technical Essentials for Peace of Mind

• Hob Safety: To comply with health and safety, hobs must be at least 300mm away from electrical sockets.
• Expansion Joins: We allow 3–5mm of space between the stone and fixed objects to account for the natural movement of your home.
• Unsupported Overhangs: Planning a breakfast bar? We ensure safety by limiting unsupported overhangs to 300mm.
