Dana's Kitchen: The joy of a great kitchen - and why it's worth investing in stunning yet practical worktops

For Dana, who lives just outside Goole, visiting our York showroom was a quick and easy trip - just 30 minutes away. Stepping into the showroom, she was able to see the full-size quartz slabs up close, appreciating the scale, depth, and detail that simply can’t be captured in photos.

From shimmering veined surfaces to subtle neutrals finishes, every design came to life in real time. Alongside the quartz range, she also explored our curated selection of sinks, taps, and kitchen accessories - all beautifully displayed to help bring her vision together in one inspiring space.

Bringing Our Showroom to You, Wherever You Are

However, you don’t need to leave your home to explore the beauty and craftsmanship of our quartz surfaces. Our virtual showroom experience brings the elegance of our collections directly to you - no matter where you are in the UK. With just a few clicks, you can order your sample box online and begin your design journey from the comfort of your kitchen table.

Each sample box includes up to three large-format style samples in your chosen colours, giving you a true sense of the texture, tone, and quality of our quartz. It’s the perfect way to visualise how the final product will look and feel in your own space.

Beyond the Worktop: Quartz, Reimagined

At the heart of this transformation lies not just a surface, but a vision. The kitchen was designed with intention and the creative use of quartz. With its generous scale, a full quartz slab (measuring an impressive 3.2m x 1.6m) offered Dana’s family the creative freedom to think far beyond the standard worktop.

The seamless dining table seating for six, crafted from a single slab of Calacatta Goldlight quartz and paired with sculptural Indian wooden-leg bases, has become the showpiece of their open-plan space - perfect for hosting long, golden-hour dinners with friends and family. Even their bay window cills are clad in quartz, creating an elegant wraparound effect that mirrors the worktop, extending the material and amplifying natural light.

Designed for Our Hectic Lives: Functional Beauty

This kitchen isn't just beautiful; it's brilliantly designed for their family's needs. They knew they wanted a space that felt bright and lighter, reflecting light to make one of the hardest-working rooms in their home look effortless. But beneath the stunning surface, it's all about seamless functionality.

From their secretly housed coffee machine which is a lifesaver on busy mornings, and the wine cooler under the counter is perfect for those rare moments of relaxation. All our recycling and bins are discreetly housed, keeping clutter at bay, and their built-in appliances maintain the clean, streamlined look they craved.

Because this isn't just a renovation..

Dana’s kitchen transformation is a masterclass in quiet luxury, with the stunning Minerox Calacatta Goldlight quartz taking centre stage. Its soft white surface is laced with delicate brassy veining that catches the fading daylight and dances in the gentle glow of under-cabinet LEDs.

The result is a space that feels both elevated and inviting - bathed in warmth, light, and an understated elegance that makes every corner feel beautifully considered. This is a kitchen that doesn't shout for attention - it glows with calm sophistication.
