We know that moving into a new home or refurbishing an existing one can be costly and stressful. This is why we have designed a customer journey that is meant to provide you with clear communication, great flexibility and consistent support from start to finish. Even after your Gemini worktops have been installed, rest assured that we are not going anywhere until you are happy with your product.
Step 1: Quote
You can request a quotation by uploading your kitchen plan or providing measurement and dimension details using our online quote request or by calling us on 0333 360 3800. A member of our friendly Gemini team will be in touch within 24 hours with a free, no obligation, quotation. Our prices are very transparent from the beginning so you won’t have any unexpected surprises when it comes to the final payment.
Step 2: Placing an Order with us
If you are happy with your quotation and would like to proceed, all we will need to secure your order is the payment of a £250 deposit. You can either pay the deposit online by clicking here or over the phone by calling us 0333 360 3800.
If would like to secure your order but you are not sure about your measurements or can’t decide which colour worktops to choose, don’t worry, you don’t have to decide just yet.
Remember, there is no obligation, if you change your mind, you can cancel your order with us and we will refund your £250 deposit*.
Step 3: Booking a Template appointment
Our Gemini team will contact you to arrange a template appointment at a suitable date and will send a pre-template guide with a checklist to help you get your kitchen for templating. If not are not sure when your kitchen will be ready, that’s absolutely fine, you can just contact us at a later stage when you know you will be ready and we will book a template date for you.
Once your template date is booked, we will confirm all details with you and we will also contact you 24 hours prior to your template appointment to confirm the time slot.
Step 4: At Template
The template is completed using the most up-to-date laser technology and takes between 1 and 3 hours. We will ask that you are on site to finalise all details and sign off. If during your template appointment, you would like to make some changes such as picking another colour for your worktop or adding a splashback for example, that’s not a problem, just inform our team on site and they will reflect the changes in the template documents. The laser template is then emailed to our technical department and is prepared for production of your Gemini Worktops.
Our Gemini team will contact you after template to ensure that everything went well, discuss the next step with you and address any concerns you may have if any. Our team will also inform you of any variation to the initial quotation as a result of any changes made during template and will confirm the final price with you.
If you are happy with the final price, we will ask that you pay the remaining balance and we will issue your Gemini Worktops into production. If however you wish to not move forward and want to cancel your order with us, that’s not a problem. We want you to know that we will not proceed with your order without your approval.
Step 5: Between Template & Installation
Because we don’t want our customers to be without a kitchen for too long, we aim to achieve a lead time of 7-10 working days between final payment and installation. During this time, we will be in regular contact with you to book an installation appointment at a suitable date, advise on what to expect on the day of installation and inform you if any advisory work needs to be completed on time for the installation of your Gemini Worktops.
Step 6: At Installation
We will confirm the time slot 24 hours prior to your installation appointment by email and sms. For an average size kitchen, the installation usually takes 2-3 hours for granite and quartz. For Corian, installation may take the majority of one day. We will ask that you are on site to finalise all details and sign off.
Our installers will leave a Gemini care kit on site along with the 25 year warranty information. As per our template stage, our Gemini team will contact you after install to ensure that everything went well and will address any concerns you may have if any.
Step 7: After Care
Because we know that our Gemini Worktops are of excellent quality, we offer a 25 year warranty on our Gemini quartz worktops to give you a peace of mind. So don’t worry we are not going anywhere! We offer continual support to you beyond installation.
