F Jones (Cleveland) Ltd t/a Gemini Worktops is a family-run business specialising in the manufacturing and installation of stone worktops. We are seeking an Assistant Worktop Installer who will be responsible for supporting the fitting of stone surfaces in our customer’s homes.
Assistant Worktop Installer - Full Time - Permanent - Based in the Swindon area, remote working with travelling. - Mobile - up to £30k
This role would suit candidates with a knowledge of fitting kitchens, have experience in labouring or as a general trades person and are familiar with using hand and power tools in a skilled manner.
Responsibilities
- Represent Gemini worktops and be a standard bearer for the Company values.
- Assisting with the installation of worktops
- Assisting with lifting, moving and siting worktops
- Using a range of hand tools to ensure a perfect fit
- Tidying up and keeping the work area clear
- Organising the work area and equipment being used
- Speaking with customers before arriving and whilst on site
- Cleaning the worktops and installation area afterwards
- Installing to a high standard
- Ensure all work is undertaken in a safe manner
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience
- Full UK driving license. Due to our vehicle insurance policy, we can only consider applicants aged 21 or over
- Good communication skills
- Good organisation skills
- Understanding the principles of good site safety
- Have experience of using power hand tools
- Be physically fit and strong for lifting lengths of stone.
- An excellent eye for detail is required.
- CSCS Accreditation.

Salary
£30,000 per annum with time and a half paid for hours worked over contracted hours.
Holiday entitlement
20 days plus bank holidays
Work Location
Required to work from client sites and travel as required by the needs of the business. You will not be required to work outside the United Kingdom.
